2010_1 Series Winner - The Bandit

The Bandit (2) 2010_1 Series Winner.

The Bandit (2) took the £50 bonus to win the 2010_1 Series amassing six tourney victories along the way. This was his 2nd Bracelet and was almost followed by a third at the FINAL TABLE when he was narrowly beaten into 2nd place by Pollux who went on to win his fith title.

Evil takes 2nd Braclet

Evil has won the outright 2009_2 series of 32 freezout tourneys making it two in a row. No one has done this before. He goes to the final table with £25,200 chips and a great chance of a record equalling third bracelet.

Evill also carries an additional bounty on his head. Anyone knocking him out on the FINAL TABLE tourney will also receive an additional cash prize.

Billy Lea - ' The Gent' is the new 2008_1 Texas Hold'em Poker Champion. Billy joins first time winner 'Banjo Bob' in the hall of fame after his impressive win over much respected multi tourney winner, 'Evil'.

Billy is owner of both William Lea Ltd and Rutba, a horse he recently bought which has already won twice. Billy is a great fan of horse racing and has also been known to have the odd drop Irish. Long may his run of success continue.

2007_2 Champion - Banjo

Banjo is the 2007_2 FINAL TABLE champion. In the heads up final he beat Pollux. Banjo's A-10 hit a 10 on the turn to beat Pollux's pocket 8's.

Banjo said his success was mainly down to a mixture of 'Low Fliers' and other medicinal preparations that are an absolute must in these high pressure situations.

Let's Do It ! - Does It !-

Having to win T31 to have any chance of making the final table, and also knowing he couldn't play in T32, 'Let's Do It had to win T31 - AND DID !

A lethal mix of lager, battery acid, vodka, red wine, rose wine and cider helped a dazed Let's Do It (LDI) to the final table. After narrowly missing out on the last two final tables by just a few points LDI annouced that if anyone called any of his all-ins they would be going through the nearest window!

He was of course, only joking, as it's well known in the poker world that LDI's favourite method of taking people out is with his huge chip dump. This he usually suffocates his opponents with. LDI can often be seen playing with his chip dump in several locations but we are assured he always washes his hands afterwards.

T27 saw a renamed and rejuvenated Pollux win his 3rd Tourney of the series. Zebadee finished 2nd with Smokey again finishing in the money in 3rd and Harry Potter making another cash prize in 4th.

As we move into the last five tourneys things are very close. Even The Schnozz is not certain to make the final table after a long absence. It can all change in the last few tourney's and with 10th position starting with 8,000 chips and 1st starting the final table with 21,500 there's a lot to play for.

Sin Cinnatti Reveals All

Sin Cinnatti Sue has finally revealed all. In a recent press conference after her win in Tourney 11 she shocked fellow poker players by announcing that her favourite hand was actually 62os? She also went on to say that her latest run of success was was mainly down to her new style of play.

"Once I've got the nuts," she explained, " I just like to put it All-In. I'm not really sure what it is, but it just feels better when it's All-In". It seems to work most of the time and it's amazing how many times putting it all-in will get players off their hands.

Trish Doubles Up

The latest run of double pointers has seen Texas Trish move into second place in the 2008_2 CHIPS Poker Series. Winning one tourney and finishing second in two others has shot Texas up the leader board where she's now almost guaranteed to be in the elite top four.

Smokey on Fire

'Smokey' (formerly know as 'Jammy Arse' and 'Peachy') has now firmly entered the top ten in the league series and looks sure to make the Final Table on December 18th and 21st as we move into the last six tourneys of the series. Not only has Smokey won a double pointer event, she's also only once finished outside of the top three since joining.

TD was full of praise for her saying, " She's been a real breath of fresh air. I'm so made up for her. And you know what?" TD laughed, "She's knocked me out twice as well, and no! - it hasn't affected me at all before you ask".

TD was later seen at the registration office in the 'deed poll' section. We think he might by trying to change his name. This was later confirmed, as a player with the same number of points as TD has now been registered as 'Pollux'.
