Final Dates

FINAL TABLE FORMAT
The final will be played
over two days and will start at 7:30 p.m. sharp with 30 mins of ‘extra’
events from ~ 9:00 - 9:30 p.m. The top ten in the rankings will then play the Final
Freeroll from until approx 12:00. All players still remaining will carry their chips over to Sundays's play.
The Sunday format will be
the same giving a maximum total playing time of eight hours. There will also be
an hours ‘extra’ events on the Sun from 7:45 p.m.- 8:45 p.m. The usual blinds
will apply but each round will be of approx 25 mins duration and not 15. This
means Day One will finish with blinds of approx 200-400 and day two with 2,000
and 4,000 as usual, but it will just take 6 hours to get there.
10th place in the
final rankings will start with 8,000 chips, 9th with 9,500 and so on
up to 1st with 21,500 chips.
All tourneys at the finals
weekend are Freeroll and no entry fee is required.
This gives us 32 tourneys in
all and players may use their best 24 results (75% of the 32), one of which
will be from the Double Points week, should it be in their best 24. Players who
have played less than 24 tourneys will be allowed to use all of the points
acquired in all the tourneys they’ve played in.
